Port Douglas
Australia is a tropical resort town with its own unique beauty.
Daintree blue/green mountains carpeted with lush rainforest surround quiet beaches, intriguing waterways
and the amazing coral and marine life of the Great Barrier Reef.
Port Douglas has 4 miles of unspoilt beach, though few holiday accommodation properties actually front
on to it.
"Omkara" is one of those rare few beachfront properties. Situated in a "no through"
quiet street with
only 10 properties, it is also only a few minutes walk to the main street
restaurants, shops and the Marina shopping complex.
From "Omkara" you need only take a few steps to Four Mile Beach
to watch the sun come up
over the Pacific Ocean, watch dolphins playing in the still waters or spot the
Brahmini kites and sea eagles diving for an early breakfast.
At dusk, you can relax on your terrace and watch the sun descend through the
breath taking, colourful sky, or later gaze at the moon and stars through the
coconut palms.

Right opposite the beach amongst dense tropical vegetation yet only 5 minutes walk from shops, village restaurants and only 10
minutes from the Marina.

"Omkara" means the manifestation of love. Our private Kutir (small houses) have been built with just that …lots of
love & consideration for quality, luxury, comfort & privacy. |
 The style is very light and airy, perfect for the tropical climate and
lifestyle. Set in a quiet location each Kutir has its own private pool
surrounded by lush tropical landscaped garden, abundant with colourful birds and
butterflies.
Facilities
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with spa) plus a secret shower room,
private entrance and courtyard, private swimming pool, large patio, huge
sun deck, carport, BBQ and fully equipped kitchen. Sleeps up to 6. |
 Rates
Rates are variable dependent on the time of year, number of persons
and the length of stay from $120 per night min, to $495 per night.
